KORG PA5X Aggiornamento V1.3.1
The Operating System v1.3.1 for KORG´s flagship arranger Pa5X is an important bugfix-release, fixing some important functionalities and system behaviors.
The main improvements in OS 1.3.1 are:
Refined SongBook Management
Optimized Audio routing for insert effects
Enhanced character compatibility
Keyboard-Set mute improvements
Overall enhanced System stability
With this new Operating System we fixed the SongBook flexibility, and now offer the use of different Sounds for a track even in different Style elements. The Sound selection will not be forced by the SongBook entry save-operation.
Furthermore, we fixed a problem using insert effects in different Style-tracks which caused a routing to separate outputs. With the new OS 1.3.1 the routing of the signal correctly follows the audio-settings.
With additional improvements in areas such as the Scale in combination with transpose, the lyrics and chord alignment for external HDMI monitors, Keyboard-Set parameters, and Lyrics-characters compatibility, we improved the overall system stability of the Pa5X Operating System in version 1.3.1.
In compliance with the latest legislation, we adjusted the default automatic power-off functionality by reducing the factory settings timer from 2 hours to 20 minutes (users can turn this function on / off to suit their needs). After this time of inactivity, the Pa5X will shut down automatically to reduce the power consumption. Users are encouraged to be careful not to lose any unsaved data, or change the settings.

Dopo 28 mesi il 90% degli utenti si aspettava qualcosa di molto più consistente. Evidentemente Korg ha davvero grossissimi problemi con questo strumento...

Tra un paio di anni dovrà uscire la P6 e si ripartirà da zero per riuscire ad avere dopo alcuni anni le capacità delle P4?

Non sarei così severo. Occorre prima che chi ha esperienza con la Pa5x verifichi che il nuovo O.S. abbia risolto le falle evidenziate. Se sì, allora è un altro passo, anche se in 28 mesi, verso la completa affidabilità di questa ammiraglia di cui per dicembre si prevede il rilascio di un nuovo O.S. Sembra che i tecnici Korg stiano lavorando sodo per recuperare il terreno (ed i clienti) perduti

28 mesi per ritrovarsi uno strumento acerbo con centinaia di bugs di ogni tipo e anche gravi, con una qualità costruttiva discutibile e privo di quelle funzioni essenziali e necessarie che gli utenti di tutto il mondo richiedono a gran voce.

Tutto il resto che hai scritto non ha alcun senso perchè lo strumento in questo modo è gestibile solo in una percentuale bassissima.
Se voglio una ammiraglia arranger che mi consenta di fare TUTTO certamente non compro la Pa5X che è deficitaria da troppo tempo.
Se Korg avesse presentato la Pa5X e avesse fatto una campagna promozionale scrivendo.
- Gentili utenti sappiate che per 28/30 mesi o più lo strumento sarà una sorta di beta tester, funzionera a cazzo e non avrà nemmeno quelle funzioni che abbiamo introdotto con NEXT 2.0. Inoltre la Pa5X non avrà alcuna compatibilità con Pa4X perchè la conversione del materiale precedentemente prodotto non funzionerà sul nuovo modello. Abbiate "pazienza"....
