quindi secondo voi attivandolo ho due midi thru? quello vero e il midi out? il midi out diventa MERGE ?

La seconda che hai detto, il MIDI OUT fará il MERGE del MIDI IN (con dei dati MIDI generati dal Fantom stesso, ovviamente)

Nel caso in cui il Fantom non genreasse dati MIDI potresti anche vederlo come "secondo Thru" (in senso lato), ma é a tutti gli effetti un MERGE.
Al differenza é che il MIDI THRU copia i dati del MIDI IN a livello elettrico, mentre il Soft Thru lo fa via software (é il microprocessore del Fantom che ritrasmette i dati dell IN sull'OUT)
