vedo che c'è anche nel Mex una batteria tampone, questa serve per mantenere solo la memoria dei nuovi banchi patch X e Y ? o serve anche a mantenere qualche altro dato di programmazione delle nuove funzioni? (non vorrei incorrere in problemi allo scaricamento di quest'ultima, se si perdono solo i suoni (PATCH) OK, li ricarico mandandogli i sysex o da una tastiera o col PC.

a conti fatti si acquista un gran upgrade,perchè:
1 Ulteriori 2 banchi da 64 patch nominati X e Y
2 Si acquista la multitimbricità ad 8 parti
3 nuovi effetti aggiuntivi
4 velocizzata la gestione dati complessiva quindi anche Sysex, dump ecc e trasmissione e ricezione su più canali midi
E molto altro ancora, calcola che ci sono ulteriori 39 parametri da regolare nel menù, e non è poco, per una cifra di 78 Euro
(calcolando che ci sono 3 banchi da 64 PATCH, si può fare anche una cernita delle migliori patch e metterle tutte pronte per l'uso, senza utilizzare card costose (50-70 euri) e collegamenti con il pc e vari rincoglionimenti per caricare i suoni)
Quindi i banchi aggiunti sono Ram, ovvero puoi scriverci qualunque pach tu voglia...non obbligatoriamente le loro!?!?

Sui nuovi banchi puoi metterci tutti i suoni che vuoi si comportano come il banco I (internal) Riguardo il Pg1000 non so risponderti perchè non lo possiedo, comunque penso che avranno pensato anche a questo,perchè ho letto da qualche parte che queste nuove funzioni del mex vengono riconosciute e supportate da sonddiver (quindi le informazioni vengono trasmesse, quello che non so è se il PG1000 le riconosce, comunque fidati che la spesa vale la candelaQuindi i banchi aggiunti sono Ram, ovvero puoi scriverci qualunque pach tu voglia...non obbligatoriamente le loro!?!?

Comunque chiunque decida di espandere deve munirsi di uno zoccolo a 28 pin per connettere l'intera mex alla scheda madre perchè non arrivano i pin

Qualcuno di voi è a conoscenza o la ha già montata? C'è il rischio di distruggere il tutto o è collaudata?
e infine vorrei caricare dei nuovi banchi suoni che ho e non so qual'è il miglior programma qualcuno così gentile di indicarmelo? sto facendo varie prove ma sta trasmissione di dati è un odissea (non ci riesco proprio, vorrei prima salvare i banchi originali che ho sulla tastiera facendo un Dump, ma non ne vuole sapere. Cosa mi consigliate di fare un dump patch per patch o di 1 globale ? 
Per fare le operazioni di Dump è obbligatorio usare le card ram 256M ?

Il Roland D50 è stato il mio primo synth e ancora oggi lo rimpiango.
Pensavo di acquistare il D-550...
